Family Christmas tonight! The kids had so much fun! Matt always plays Santa....and does a great job. Although this year he should have had a hair stylist....his hair was everywhere! I am cracking up looking at the pictures! Cutler loved Santa...wasn't afraid at all, but that will probably come next year! Josiah and Levi were trying to talk their way out of being bad this year....Santa assured them that they would get gifts if they tried their hardest this week to be good! We even had a little snow for the evening....but we are still waiting on the big one! Still a dark cloud looming this year with Janelle's divorce in progress and then Penny still on the ventilator. Oh to be a child and only have the joys of Santa to think about on Christmas, as adults, Christmas can be a tough time. But we have to remember the REASON FOR THE SEASON...and hold on to the joy of Christ Jesus.

Off to College

Chance and I spent all day Friday at IUPUI in Indianapolis. Making all of the final arrangements for him to begin school on January 10th. Here we are in the wonderful new music department. He will have to audition in February to be accepted for the Fall of 2010 program. He will finish up his gen ed classes along with some music classes to prepare him for the program. He is very excited....me...not so excited, but excited for him!

Mr. Christmas Puggle!

A CHRISTMAS PUPPY! Ok...we all know....I am not a "puppy kind of girl"....with that being said....We got a Puppy! Chase and Macy begged for this little Puggle for a week. Macy's little sister Sable got the puppy's sister....Ruby! I have to admit...he is adorable, but we shall see how it goes....he already has had one accident! Meet little Hef!

Our First Snow

Monday morning we woke up to a surprise snowfall...we only got a little, but the roads were very slick and school was delayed 2 hours!

Cutler and Chance both got 1 early Christmas present....Chase wasn't home so he missed out! Chance knew that his guitar had arrived and here he is almost 20 and still begging to open it early!

Cutler is a BIG BOY! That is how he shows us how big he is! And then he claps!

He is starting to let go and take a few steps....he will be be 9 months on the 20th....so he is going to be an early walker!

Stephenie Meyer

A Teacher Friend here at the Middle School went to Stephenie Meyer's book signing in Chicago this past September. We put a picture up in the library....the girls are just fascinated by the Twilight books! Even those girls who never read, will read Meyer's books! I think the movies have sparked alot of interest also. And Ohhhh that Jacob!
