Fall Weekend in Indiana!

Saturday night we drove from Columbus, IN to Louisville, KY for a THIRD DAY CONCERT. It is about an hour drive....we had so much fun! Third Day puts on such an awesome show! You truly feeling the spirit of God!

Macy and Matt on Saturday at Otter Creek. Saturday was soooo cold and windy....Macy and I shopped during the first nine holes, and then caught up with Chase on the back nine!

Chase teeing off....Chase ended up after the 2 day tournament in 2nd place! The boy that beat him is a senior and just signed to play golf at Indiana University. Chase had a great weekend and we are very proud of him!

I got to do my first photo shoot!!!! Other than my own kids! haha A good friend ours, Andrew Lafferty, a golfing buddy of Chase, brought his adorable little girl out to Otis park and I took over 500 pics of her! She was having so much fun posing for the camera and doing silly things! She is a good model to practice with, I will be grabbing her more often to do pictures for practice!

Cutler and Thomas!

Cutler comes over every Monday night to play while his Mommy does homework....so every Monday night we do pictures! He had on his train clothes....so I had the bright idea to take him to a railroad track and do pics! Not many around town anymore...unless it is right down main street and I didn't want him to get hit by a car! So Matt remembered the old train station and we went there and got some pics! I am so glad Cutler likes to have his picture taken! He loves it!

Some Tastes of Fall

My first pot of chili this fall....

My new Festiva Corn Pudding! I love this! Our Golf Coaches wife gave me this recipe last week and I have fixed it twice! You have to try it! Super Easy!

5 cans of shoe peg corn (white) drained

2 pkgs cream cheese

2 jalapenos

2 T flour

1/2 C milk

1/2 butter

Melt cream cheese, butter, milk, flour.....stir....add corn and sliced jalapenos in a large bowl and stir....bake at 350 for about 40 minutes!

Fall has Fallen in Indiana

The smell of fall....pumpkin pie, campfires, carmel apples! A few of the fun things about fall...however in Indiana we know what is coming soon! Snow and Cold! Over the weekend Spring Mill hosted the annual Haunted Campground and Village....which will run through the end of October. It was such a perfect fall evening Saturday that Jacey took Cutler down and Trick-or -Treated at the campground. After it started getting cold, we drove down and got him and they camped with some of their friends! Of course we had a fun weekend with him! He just brighens our lives...no matter what is going on around us!
