We had a fun evening on Lake Monroe! Decided to give the boat thing one more try! All was well this time....one time the boat wouldn't start....but no big deal for us! haha I wear everyone out with my picture taking! They hate it!!!! Sweet Memories!

State Finals....well it could have gone better today at The Legends Course, in Franklin, IN....our boys got 12th and didn't make the cut to the 2nd day. But we are so proud of them! We had so much fun preparing for the big day! My Uncle Kenny cut golf balls out of wood and put the balls on tees. The girls golf team came over Sunday evening and we painted them and put the boys names on them. Then we took them up on Hwy 37 and put them along side of the road so the boys would see them on their way to Franklin Monday evening. Better Luck next year Chase...you will be back!

OUR FAST AND FURIOUS TRIP....My sister Darcie and I made a quick trip to Alabama Saturday! The trip was up in the air this year because of Chase being in Regionals at Seymour Friday. But I just couldn't not go! Called Darcie up and we were on our way! Left home Saturday morning arrived in time to see Randy perform in his barn for 4 hours! We had such a fun time! Met up with my "Alabama Groupie" friends from Pennsylvania! They have become wonderful friends and we always have so much fun together! Wish we lived closer! It was great to spend the weekend with my sister too...we don't get to do that very often! Arrived back home on Sunday evening....it was a fast trip, but we had a great time! Can't wait until next year!

BNL GOLF TEAM won Regionals Friday at Seymour! Chase had an awesome round of 70 2 under par! He was medalist for Regionals! Quite an accomplishment for a Freshman! The Stars leave Monday for Franklin, IN to play at State Tues. & Wed.! Good luck to them!!!

OUR VOYAGE ON LAKE MONROE....well, that didn't turn out so well! After a 100 degree day of golf....Shauna and I had the bright idea to head to the lake and take an evening ride on her boat! So we pack the kids up and head north to Lake Monroe. We get the cover off and head out...we are barely out in the idle zone and the boat dies! Oh NO! We try to put our heads together....Shauna and I together don't usually make a full head...but at least we had the voice of reason along....CHASE! We called Shauna's husband at work and he talked Chase through what to do...with some duct tape and a little work Chase got us running again! However, while we were floating out there, a storm started brewing! It was thundering and lightning...we decided to get the boat back in the slip and head to the clubhouse for the Pasta Bar! Always an adventure with us!
